Having first met in Law School, Tammy (nee Tannous) and Iain Cameron formed a lasting partnership that has continued throughout their legal careers. As a Boutique-style Law Firm, Cameron & Cameron has sought to combine the partners desire to help others solve problems and issues, with a practical approach to legal matters. The guiding principle is not to try and make issues out of problems but solutions out of issues. In each case, whether it is Divorce or Personal Injury, the goal is to get to a just and proper resolution for our clients. Iain Cameron
Starting as a licenced independant Insurance Adjuster, in his family-run business, Iain spent several years investigating and adjusting claims for many of the largest Insurance Companies in Western Canada. He also gained experience as a court-qualified expert in valuation, appraisal and damage assessment. He has put this knowledge to use in obtaining the best settlements for his Injury clients, and managing as lead counsel in several difficult multi-vehicle claims. His experience in managing several business before starting the Cameron Law Firm, has aided his understanding of his Corporate Clients. Besides his work in Personal Injury and Corporate Law, Iain has spent many years working with the Criminal Justice system and helping his clients with their Estate matters. With numerous and varied interests outside of the Law, there is an opportunity to bring a broader real-world experience to many of the problems facing those who come seeking advice for real-world problems. A majority of his practice deals with Litigation, and Iain has been to all levels of the courts in Alberta, and has many precedent setting cases. TAMMY CAMERON
With an interest and teaching experience in the Arts, Tammy applies creativity to her years as manager and practitioner with Cameron & Cameron. Principally concentrating in the areas of Matrimonial and Real Estate Law, she has also been active in the upcoming fields of Mediation and Arbitration. Besides an busy Family Law Practice, she is well recognized in the Alberta Family Courts Mediation Program. She has also appeared in all levels of the Alberta Courts. With roots in Alberta going back to one of the Local Homestead familys, her commitment to the community runs deep. Her sincere commitment to helping her many clients find their way through difficult times in their lives, has left her recognized as one of the leading Advocates of the Family Bar.
